James Leung

Leung Wai Mo James graduated from the Parsons School of Design New York. He lived and worked in New York as a graphic designer and is now based in Hong Kong. With strong understanding on the brand building process, his creative strengths cover disciplinary areas in graphic communication design, corporate identity design and system development.

In 1996, Leung founded the multidisciplinary studio Genemix Group. The company’s international branding experience has enabled many international and local clients that include FMCG, IT, Utility, Hospitality companies in developing their very own distinct brand image in different markets.

Leung’s achievements throughout his decade long career have won him awards and recognition from North America and Asia including HKDA Awards (Hong Kong), CSD Design Awards (Hong Kong), Art Directors Club Awards (USA), Type Directors Club Awards (USA), Applied Typography Annual (Japan) and Tokyo Type Directors Club Annual(Japan).
