Michel Miller Yu

Michael Miller Yu was born in Guangdong Province, China but spent his childhood in Macau, moving to Hong Kong in 1965. In 1973, he graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic with a Higher Diploma in Industrial Design. Yu has worked in a number of design positions for prestigious companies but in 1975, he established his own Creation House. In 1976, the HKDA appointed him to raise funds and publish the first Hong Kong Design Annual. Michael has received over 200 local and overseas design awards and was twice awarded the Governor’s Industrial Design Award. In 2001, Michael established Michaelsolve.com dedicated to design projects that contribute to the well being of mankind.
