Sherman Chan

Sherman Chan received his Higher Diploma in Design from the Hong Kong Polytechnic in 1981. After graduation, he started his career in design and later co-founded the design consultant firm Form Design Group. Sherman had also studied abroad and earned his BFA (UW-Madison) degree in 1995 and MsEd degree (Bank Street/Parsons) in 1998. He has been engaged in design education since 1995, and was previously the School Sub-director & Associate Professor of the School of Arts, Macao Polytechnic Institute (1995-2002); and the School Principal of the Hong Kong Chingying Institute of Visual Arts(2004-08). Over the years, Sherman had participated in a number of group exhibitions in Hong Kong, Macao and Taipei.

Sherman has been a full member of HKDA since 1996. Currently he has been appointed as the External Examiner of the Detech Courses of HKDI(2009-10). He is also the Founding Member of Macao Digital Photography Association and the Advisor of Asian Young Designers Association.

陳耀堂畢業於前香港理工學院設計系，及後從事設計工作並與夥伴創立FORM DESIGN GROUP。曾赴海外進修，先後取得美國威斯康辛州立大學(UW-Madison)藝術學士及紐約Bank Street / Parsons教育碩士學位。歷任澳門理工學院藝術高等學校副校長及副教授、香港正形設計學校校長及多間院校設計講師；曾參與多個港、澳、台設計及藝術聯展，亦曾發表論文及著作。

陳氏於1996年開始成為香港設計師協會全權會員，現為該會執行委員、香港知專設計學院DeTech專業文憑課程校外評審、亞洲青年設計師協會顧問及澳門數碼攝影學會創會會員。
